The Calhan Lions Easter Egg Hunt is a fun-filled event for families to celebrate spring together. Kids (10 and under) can search for colorful eggs, win prizes, and maybe even snag a photo with the Easter Bunny. Bring your baskets and your biggest smiles—we’ll handle the rest! 🐰🥚

The Calhan Loyalty Day Parade is a community celebration honoring patriotism, service, and the values that bring our neighbors together. Local businesses, families, and organizations line up to show their pride with floats, music, and plenty of small-town spirit. Come out, wave a flag, and help us celebrate what makes our community strong.

Each child is provided socks, shoes, underwear, t-shirts, sweatshirts, shoes, gently used clothing, a backpack, and school supplies. The Lion's Club works with area sponsors to put on this amazing project each year. 

Each year, the Calhan Lions Club cleans Hwy 24 on each side of the town of Calhan. The Leos and FFA Youth help out.

Each year the Calhan Lion's Club sponsors and runs the Community Easter Egg Hunt. 

Desk flags are assembled for the first graders in the rural schools in our area.  Each first grader receives a desk flag with a paragraph about the flag of the United States of America.
